You cannot visit Italy without having seen and visited one of the world’s most beautiful and famous stretch of coastline. So beautiful, it has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997! Don’t disappoint yourself and your friends by staying behind. They will want to see your pictures. Are you not convinced yet? Please read on!

Clinging to the Ligurian cliffs on the west coast of Italy are five castles at nearly the same distance from one another: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. In the privacy and comfort of a private motor launch, this wonderful SeaDream Adventure will allow you to see them as the ancient mariners had - from the sea. Depart from the Portovenere pier directly to Cinque Terre (“Five Lands”) and marvel at the breathtaking coast with the villages suspended above the sea, almost defying gravity. There they are - Five (“Cinque”) picturesque villages of pastel-colored houses and terraced vineyards alive with the fragrance of olive trees blending with the fresh ocean breeze.

Arrive at the village of Vernazza, were you disembark and begin a guided walk of this 1st-century village. Notice the richness of its architecture, which is evidence of a standard of living that was wealthier than the other villages. Following this guided walk, there will be free time to browse the local shops or enjoy a café.

Then re-board the vessel for a stop at the second village - Monterosso, known as the most westerly village and the beach town of the Cinque Terre. This town is divided into two distinct parts San Cristoforo Hill, and the old maritime village protected by a rock spur. Your guide will point out the highlights of the village and then allow you free time to explore on your own before returning to the motor launch and the return journey to Portovenere.

En route down the coast, enjoy a sampling of the excellent local wines and some delicious focaccia bread. Ah, la dolce vita (“The Sweet Life”).

This exciting adventure includes a good deal of walking so we ask that you wear comfortable walking shoes and only attempt the walk if you are fit.

A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures and some have limited capacity. This program is booked onboard only so please make your reservations as soon as possible after boarding to avoid disappointment. The price is subject to increase based on the rapidly rising exchange rate between the Euro to the US Dollar.
