Port Information - Coconut Grove
Nevis is one of our favorite islands and we encourage you to explore Nevis beyond the beaches to make the most of your visit! We offer several excellent and varied options for you to do so and still leave you with plenty of time on your own for the beach. Less commercial and laidback than its large neighbor St. Kitts, Nevis, at first glimpse, offers a stunning approach with dramatic views of the potentially active volcanic Nevis Peak (3,232 feet/985 meters). Your SeaDream zodiac will bring you directly onto the Coconut Grover beach; about 10 minutes drive from Charlestown. The small capital of Charlestown does not offer too many sightseeing or shopping opportunities though the house where American statesman Alexander Hamilton was born can easily be found along the waterfront (now the Museum of Nevis History). To enjoy Nevis to its full potential, we recommend that you divide your day into " Morning, lunch/afternoon and evening activities. Morning - Start your day with EXPLORING the island, above or under water, on one of our fun optional adventures described below. They are all enjoyable & exciting and, you will also help the local population earn a living. Unfortunately, the local economy has been suffering since hurricane Omar struck the island in October of 2008. The damage caused by the storm forced the closure of the islands main employer and main source for tourists " the Four Seasons Resort. Midday & afternoon - Your SeaDream yacht will anchor off this lovely beach with beautiful views over to St. Kitts while the SeaDream zodiacs will provide a continuous service between the yacht and the beach (wet landings). In addition to the beach that is very inviting for long beach walks, there is also a small pool with a wooden deck and picnic style tables with benches. There are also restrooms, lounge chairs, SeaDream beach towels and volleyball net. Some umbrellas provide shade and additional seating is provided around the pool and inside the impressive Balinese style main house. We suggest that you dress for the beach and bring protection from the sun. Don't forget to visit the small gift shop so bring some cash and/or credit cards. Your SeaDream staff will provide you with a SeaDream catered beach BBQ and, of course, a complimentary SeaDream bar service. We hope you will enjoy this SeaDream afternoon on the beach. Evening - For a romantic sunset with cocktails and a snack or dinner, we like to take the short drive to see Gillian, the owner of the charming Bananas Restaurant, offering lovely views surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Of course there is also Sunshine's Beach Bar & Grill, home of the famous "Killer Bee" Caribbean rum drink. We hope that the above recommendations allow you to plan YOUR special day on Nevis. Now, all you have to do is to decide which of the optional morning activities to join.

Golf At "mahogany Run"
On most days, a steady wind sweeps through the emerald dales on the north shore of St. Thomas to blow past beautiful vacation homes and over the scenic fairways and greens of the sometimes-infuriating Mahogany Run Golf Course. Major celebrities and several tourists simply love Mahogany Run. The course is a difficult but rewarding 18 holes of golf for anyone carousing through the British and US Virgin Islands. Bill Clinton played here back in January 1997. He left something of personal lament and signed an autograph of a photo of the course's most scenic hole, which is framed and hangs at the door to the pro shop. He wrote "only" got a four on No. 14 -- a bogey. Michael Jordan and several other professional athletes also gritted their teeth at the challenges of Mahogany Run. Actors John Travolta and Sylvester Stallone have played it. All of them came because the course designed by George and Tom Fazio has some incredibly scenery as well as some very interesting and difficult holes. SeaDream guests have the option to take the ferry or private water taxi from Cruz Bay, St. John to Red Hook, St. Thomas where a transfer van will whisk you to the North Shore to play one of the best courses in the Caribbean and some say the world!

Rounding Pointe de Colombier, you're back in the Caribbean. A short stop is made in the bay at Rockefeller Beach for you to dive overboard for a swim and have a cool drink. Norman Island, Bvi Information
Welcome to one of the most popular yachting island in the British Virgin Islands! We at SeaDream love this place for the variety of choices it offers our SeaDreamers. First, a bit of history: Norman Island is perhaps most famous for being the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's novel, Treasure Island. However, Norman Island also has a rich documented history of acting as a hiding spot for pirate loot. Documented history for the island dates back to the early 18th century when the crew of a Spanish treasure galleon, called Nuestra Senora de Guadeloupe, buried 55 chests of silver coins after the crew mutinied aboard the ship. Although Lieutenant General of the Leeward Islands, Gilbert Fleming, and later Tortolan residents have discovered much of the treasure' more pirate treasures are rumored to exist to this day on Norman Island. We hope that YOU will find some of it during your visit! Today, Norman Island offers one of the safest and most scenic yachting harbors in the British Virgin Islands. The anchorage, known as "The Bight" offers over 100 yacht moorings and is central to numerous world-famous SCUBA dive and snorkel sites such as The Caves and The Indians. The 600-acre privately owned and uninhabited Norman Island also boasts numerous hiking trails and a breathtaking white sand beach; as well as one of the best Caribbean beach bars - Pirates Bight Restaurant. www.normanislandpirates.com So what's a SeaDreamer to do on Norman Island? We offer a variety of fun and exciting SeaDream land & water-based adventures. That should take care of your morning activities. Upon your return from your morning activity, we suggest that you drop in for your own lunch at the beachfront Pirates Bight Restaurant ashore on Norman Island. The SeaDream tender will take you ashore only a few steps from where the beach meets the bar..... Come ashore prepared for the beach; no formalities required! The casual open-air restaurant with fabulous views over the bay and across to Tortola Island offers an excellent variety of fish and meat dishes; and quite often even fresh lobster; all reasonably priced. Do not forget to treat yourself to the famous Bushwacker, the drink that made the restaurant & bar famous! It tastes like a frozen chocolate shake but it packs quite a punch. For those of you with a sweet tooth, you can order it by the bucket! The recipe is available on request. Spend the afternoon lazing on the beach, swim in the clear waters or browse through the gift shop. For the energetic ones, just behind the restaurant are trails that take you up to the ridge of the island. If you are used to hiking, it should take you about 30-minutes to get to the top. Once atop the highest trails, you can enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the entire BVI's and even can see over to St. John, USVI. Take in incredible vistas over multiple British Virgin Islands and the Sir Francis Drake Channel to the north, east and west. To the south, you can see the wide expanse of the Caribbean Sea. Our suggestion would be to make the hike in the late afternoon to avoid the midday heat. Then, as you return back down to the beach, treat yourself to a refreshing swim and frozen drink at the Pirates Bight bar. Behind the restaurant there is also a sand volleyball court so don't forget to ask the manager of the restaurant" the incredible master- Bushwacker-maker Rupert, for the ball. Should your visit to Norman Island fall on a Thursday through Sunday night " The Pirates Bight Bar features great live music and is likely THE most popular bar in the islands; do not miss to join the fun! The band usually starts at 8:00 PM and lasts until 11:00 PM and later. If the above still leaves you wondering what to do, please consult our onboard Club & Activity Director for some more ideas. If you can't find them onboard, check ashore and look for where they serve those chocolate "shakes."

Golf At Cuisinart Resort
THE COURSE AT CUISINART GOLF RESORT & SPA CuisinArt Golf Club offers a Caribbean golf experience where sand, wind and water blend seamlessly with Anguilla's natural environment to present a golfer's paradise. In planning the course, significant environmental efforts were undertaken to preserve and to enhance the island's natural habitats. Most significant was the renewal of Merrywing Salt Pond, an island landmark. Featured predominantly in the course, the pond's water has been reinvigorated, giving rebirth to its natural organisms. New flushing channels permit seawater to flow out of the pond during high tide. Players are greeted at the starting hole of this 7,063-yard championship course by spectacular views of St. Maarten and the Caribbean Sea, and the overwhelming visual appeal continues. Some of its signature holes include: " 1st hole: A spectacular vista of St. Maarten and the Caribbean Sea awaits players at the tee box of the 390-yard starting hole. The fairway descends over 40 feet to a narrow, two-tiered green sitting precariously on the edge of a saltwater lagoon. Robb Report called this first hole "The Caribbean's answer to the 18th at Pebble Beach." " 2nd and 10th holes: Holes two and ten share a 16,000 square foot green that rests along the Anguilla Channel. " 16th hole: Large seagrape trees on the left and the Merrywing pond on the right frame the perilous drive on the 440-yard 16th hole that plays into the tradewinds and ends with an elevated green surrounded by water and protected by deep bunkers. " 18th hole: The drive for the finishing hole runs along the edge of a mangrove thicket in a vast stretch of salt marsh that winds through eight other course holes. The narrowing fairway ascends forty feet through rugged terrain to a narrow green carved out of native shrub.
