Port Name Description
Singapore Lee Kuan Yew, first and longest reigning Prime Minister of Singapore, stepped down in 1990. Known as 'father of Singapore,' Mr. Lee's guidance unquestionably created an economic marvel and model safe society out of a chaotic post-war, post-colonial state. The rules are tough, but clear. Jaywalkers are fined on the spot. Drop litter – and you pay (smokers beware!). Explore the city-state's impressive modernity and tradition in its architecture. I.M. Pei's striking Gateway and Moshe Safdie's Marin Bay Sands point the way to the future, but don't miss the handsome Old Parliament House.
Redang Island (Pulau Redang) The thick green mangrove forest that blankets Redang Island is fringed with inviting sugary sand beaches. To describe paradise, simply look around and tell about what you can see. The wonderland continues into the surrounding sea where the National Marine Park has been created to guarantee the marine ecosystem will remain undisturbed. There are more than 20 popular dive sites – several of them suitable for beginners (lessons are available). Relax on a personal stretch of beach or enjoy a spa treatment at the island's exclusive resort.
Tioman Island (Pulau Tioman) Ancient legend suggests Palau Tioman was once a princess – a magical Dragon Princess in fact. She was minding her own business as she travelled along the Malay peninsula from China to Singapore. She was supposed to visit her prince, but she became weary and stopped to rest. Enchanted by the natural beauty that surrounded her, the beautiful maiden decided to remain, transforming herself into an island so that she might linger for eternity. She must have been very beautiful – if her spectacular island is a gauge.
At Sea
Samui Island (Ko Samui) Many people visit tiny Ko Pha-ngan in the Gulf of Thailand just to experience the Full Moon Party. Just as advertised, the impromptu party takes place upon every occasion of a full moon. The band comes out and thousands of people congregate on the beach to celebrate the event. Along with neighboring Ko Samui, it is the resort party district. Hawkers greet newcomers at Na Thon, Ko Samui's main town, offering both goods and accommodation. Both islands offer natural beauty beyond the main towns.
Hua Hin Everyone on the Malay Peninsula is touched by the sea – life in the delicate region is intertwined with the waves that lap its shores. Tropical islands and coral reef lines the slender finger of land before it widens into Malaysian territory. Peninsular Thailand is an exotic place – influenced by neighboring Malaysia and Myanmar, but blending in harmony with the thick jungle-covered land. Unlike other Thai resorts, Hua-Hin was measured in its efforts to build tourism infrastructure, resulting in a place with fewer visitors and more palm trees. Join a SeaDream Land Adventure to the Summer Palace at Petchaburi or explore Hua-Hin.
Phangan Island (Ko Phangan) Many people visit tiny Ko Pha-ngan in the Gulf of Thailand just to experience the Full Moon Party.
Bangkok (Klong Toei) Bangkok is the capital of Thailand and, with a population of over eleven million inhabitants, by far its largest city. Its high-rise buildings, heavy traffic congestion, intense heat and naughty nightlife do not immediately give you a warm welcome "” but don't let your first impression mislead you. It is one of Asia's most cosmopolitan cities with magnificent temples and palaces, authentic canals, busy markets and a vibrant nightlife that has something for everyone. For years, it was only a small trading post at the banks of the Chao Phraya River, until King Rama I, the first monarch of the present Chakri dynasty, turned it into the capital of Siam in 1782, after the burning of Ayutthaya by Burmese invaders. Since then, Bangkok has turned into a national treasure house and functions as Thailand's spiritual, cultural, political, commercial, educational and diplomatic center. SeaDream will be using the terminal at Klong Toei for the turnaround in beautiful Bangkok.

Highlights Of Bangkok

Disembark from the yacht at Klongtoey port and transfer to visit the Wat Trimit temple. This temple was built by three Chinese comrades around 150 years ago. It was restored in 1937 and granted the new name of Wat Trimitwitthayaram. Phra Sukhothaitrimit: The main attraction of the temple is the five-ton, three-meter tall Sukhothai-style Buddha image in the Subduing Mara position made of solid gold known as the Golden Buddha. The image was once believed to be of ordinary stucco until it fell from a crane while being moved to a new building and the gold inside was revealed. The theory is that the covering was a means of protecting it from the Burmese while the capital of Ayutthaya was under siege. Then drive through China Town and the Flower Market to the city's most important landmark, the Grand Palace. This stunning Palace with its bright gold temples, pavilions and gardens was the residence of the early Chakri dynasty kings 210 years ago. Within the extensive Palace grounds is the most sacred & important of all Thai temples, the Wat Phra Kaew, containing the most revered Buddha image in the country, the Emerald Buddha, made from one solid piece of translucent green jade. Here guests can relax in informal surroundings and enjoy the very best in Thai cuisine. Treasures Of Siam

Drive from Klongtoey Port by your minivan to your first visit at the Vimarnmek Palace. The palace name literally translates as "Mansion of the Clouds" is the world's largest teak wood mansion and outstanding example 19th century architecture. While admiring the craftsmanship of the carpenters, you will travel back through time to gain a rare insight into the lifestyle of royalty. Continue onto Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall to visit the Art of Kingdom Exhibition. On July 21st, 1976 the SUPPORT Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit was officially established to promote local arts and crafts which would assist in supplementing income for the underprivileged families. On regular regional visits, Her Majesty would meet with villagers to informally chat and listen to their opinions and problems, while inspecting their latest handiworks and meet with new talents, who would later be sent to train in Bangkok. With encouragement, the villagers were excited and willing to cultivate higher skills in handling more intricate designs, from weaving to Yan Lipao Basketry and complicated wooden carvings. After a decade, the SUPPORT Training Centre on the grounds of Chitralada Villa of Dusit Palace celebrated with a grand exhibition followed by a series of exhibitions in later years. Samples of masterpieces are Supannabhetra " Golden Sampan crafted from gold nielloware to form the ship, and an embroidered "Himavan Forest" screen where only super-fine silk threads are used. Then take Tuk Tuk ride to Jim Thompson House (2 guests per 1 tuk tuk). Enjoy your Thai set late lunch before your visit to this Thai house. Jim Thompson's House was a home of James HW Thompson, an American entrepreneur who founded the world renowned Jim Thompson Thai Silk. He came to Bangkok after the World War II ended and that was when he discovered the wonder of Thai silk. The tour not only offers an opportunity to see a splendid design of his traditional Thai house but it also takes you to a journey of his entrepreneurship and life in Thailand until the time of disappearance, and how he escalated Thai silk into a global brand. The vihara (hall) was destroyed when the Burmese sacked Ayutthaya in 1767 and was rebuilt in its original style in 1956.
