Port Name Description
Korcula Korcula is an island in the Adriatic Sea.
Hvar Hvar is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. The island of Hvar is unusual in the area for having a large fertile coastal plain, and fresh water springs. Its hillsides are covered in pine forests, with vineyards, olive groves, fruit orchards and lavender fields in the agricultural areas. The climate is characterized by mild winters, and warm summers with many hours of sunshine.
Sibenik The town of Sibenik is situated in one of the most well-protected natural harbors on the Croatian coast. Our yacht sails in to the harbor past numerous islands in the archipelago and through a channel that is, in parts, less than 500 feet wide. While Sibenik is less well known than Dubrovnik and Split, it has it's own personality and some great things to see and enjoy. Sibenik's cathedral is one of the marvels of the Dalmatian Coast and is Unesco World Heritage listed. In the old town, little streets lead to attractive squares where modern shops blend into the fine and stylish architecture of vanished centuries. Nearby is the Krka National Park with its river and numerous waterfalls and cascades.
Rab Rab is an island in Croatia and a town of the same name located just off the northern Croatian coast in the Adriatic Sea.
Pula Pula is one of Istria's most authentic and complex cities. Unlike other Istrian destinations, Pula has a flourishing life apart from the tourist business. It's an important shipbuilding centre, an industry that dates back to the days when it was an important naval port under the Austro-Hungarian empire. Even the Romans liked Pula's position and made it their administrative headquarters. The amphitheatre they built remains one of the most complete examples found in the Mediterranean and towers over our yacht at the dock.

Walking The Walled Town

This guided walk through the walled town is an excellent opportunity to not only get to know your way around for later independent explorations but your knowledge and experienced guide will provide you with a historic insight and context to let you appreciate this beautiful town to its fullest. As you arrive at the walled city of Dubrovnik via SeaDream tender and enter its fortress walls through the Harbor Gate, gaze up at the ever-watchful St. Blaise, the patron saint of the city. Once inside, you are sure to notice immediately the absence of signage and neon, its stone-paved Stradun Avenue lined with graceful stone palazzos, shops, sidewalk cafes and government buildings all looking as they did hundreds of years ago. Along the way we visit, among other places the Maritime Museum with a special emphasis on the glorious period of seamanship under Dubrovnik Republic in the 16th century, the Rector's Palace (15th century) once the seat of the Government and Rector in the, once, independent Republic of Dubrovnik (abolished by Napoleon in 1808). Today it gives us a taste of how the ruling class and the aristocracy used to live. Other fine buildings will be viewed from the outside: the Sponza Palace notable for its column courtyard with elaborate stone carvings, Church of Saint Blaise, Onofriou`s Fountain, etc. A knowledgeable guide brings the rich history of this visually stunning city alive! At the conclusion of this walking adventure, a stop is made at the one of the local cafe's in the Old Town for a refreshment of cookies, coffees and soft drinks.

Notes It is also possible to walk the perimeter of the walls that surround the city. Due to the amount of steps involved, this is not included in the tour. It is your option to enjoy this portion of the day on your own after the tour. Piran

Piran Walking Tour

The compact town's history dates back to the Greeks, deriving its name from pyr, the Greek word for fire; centuries ago, bonfires were lit at the tip of the peninsula to guide ships to the port of Koper. Piran has preserved the medieval layout with narrow streets and compact houses, which rise in steps from coastal lowland into the hills and gives the area a typical Mediterranean feel. This delightful land adventure will take us into the heart of this Venetian harbor town. Your local guide will meet you at the SeaDream pier and lead you into the Tartini Square, the heart of Piran, The Square is named for the famous composer and violinist Giuseppe Tartini, who was born in Piran. The most beautiful building in this square is an Venetian Gothic house from the first half of the 15th century, with a typical balcony and window trifora in Venetian Gothic style. The pictu¬resque background of the square is rounded off by the cathedral on a hill with a fine view of the Bay of Trieste. During the tour you will walk through narrow streets and see typical houses, which are decorated with the traditional lion and book. During the adventure you will make a short stop to taste the local wine and snacks of the area.

Home Of The Lipizzaner Horses

Many of you will have heard of the famous white horses of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Established during the Austrian Empire in 1572, it is the oldest riding school of its kind in the world. The school uses exclusively the Lipizzaner horse which for many years came from the Lipica Stud Farm in the picturesque Karst region of western Slovenia which was part of the Austrian Empire at the time. The stud farm was founded in 1580 and, today, is a jewel among the cultural and historical monuments of the Republic of Slovenia. For over four centuries, the Lipica Stud Farm has nurtured the tradition of breeding and selecting thoroughbred horses. In the period after World War II, Lipica established its own classical riding school and has successfully performed with its horses at various equestrian events all over the world.. The tour to the Lipica Stud Farm is a unique experience to admire the white horses. Their elegance and beauty will capture your attention with kindness and grace. A professional guide will introduce us to the historical background. On arrival at the stable we will be able to view a training session of the school horses. Romantic Gondola Evening Serenade

Since Venice began there have always been gondoliers. By the 11th century most were in private service with patrician families. There were about 10,000 gondoliers in Venice in the 16th century, and today there are fewer than 400. Great skill is required to steer a boat through the narrow canals of Venice. Each gondola is 36 feet long, 4 feet wide and weighs 1,100 pounds. A gondolier serves a 10-year apprenticeship under a padrone before getting his own permit. A licensee must be native-born, and, since new licenses are not issued, must wait until a colleague gives up a license before getting his own. Their union offers free courses in foreign languages, art history and the history of Venice, but the gondoliers are not given singing lessons - every Italian seems to have a natural talent for song. Join us for a romantic tour through the canals of Venice. Riding four per gondola, you will traverse the smaller, less trafficked canals, enjoying the soft lights and balconied waterfront homes, and be serenaded as you glide along.
