Snorkel or Dive the Great Barrier Reef
Admit it, it isn’t possible to venture to this part of the world without Experiencing the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef on an exclusive, custom built 24 meter snorkel and dive vessel ensuring comfort and stability to create an ultimate day on the reef. Together with your fellow SEADREAMER’S, you will visit the remote and pristine reefs at the very edge of the outer Great Barrier Reef for a day of snorkeling and/or scuba diving visiting up to three amazing sites!. The vessel features a huge open plan dive deck with a custom submersible platform, a large foredeck and a top deck. Diving and Introduction Diving is offered on the vessel at an additional charge and it is best to pre book. Depending on the conditions of the day, we are planning three separate dive/snorkel locations. This is a chance of a lifetime and simply cannot be missed! Should you want to dive, there are additional fees that can be paid on the chartered vessel. Prices are in AUD. Introductory diving - $60 AUD per dive; Certified Dive: $50 for 1st dive, $25 for 2nd dive and $20 for 3rd dive (including gear hire). Maximum 8 per group. Introductory Dive: $60 for the 1st dive (includes tuition & all dive gear). Additional dives $50 each. Maximum 4 per group. Three dives available if normal schedule is kept. To ensure that Dive Masters and Dive Instructors will be on board to facilitate any diving, please advise in advance if any of your group would like diving included in the day’s activities (please also advise the number of divers).
Notes: Please remember to wear your swimsuit, bring sun protection and a SEADREAM towel (available at the gangway). In order to make the proper reservations for certified divers, the following information must be made at the time of booking with the Concierge. - Guest’s last dive - BCD (stable) - Wet suit size (if guest does not bring his/her own) - If regulator is requested or not - Weights (number of pounds) - Mask and fins size (if guest does not bring his/her own) MANDATORY: Guests must bring their dive certificate. Note that restrictions apply if guest’s last dive goes back to one year.
