Ko Rok Discovery by Speedboat
Take a breezy journey by speedboat to Ko Rok where you will discover the amazing underwater world filled with unique fish and coral reefs. Situated 30 km south of Ko Lanta Yai, and part of the 53 islands that make up Ko Lanta's archipelago, are the twin limestone islands named Ko Rok Nok and Ko Rok Nai. These sister islands are separated only by a shallow canal, less than 100 meters wide and 15 meters deep. Ko Rok Nai, with its crescent shaped bay featuring cliffs, white beaches and a stand of banyan trees inland, is extraordinarily magnificent and Ko Rok Nok is uninhabited but occupied by wild animals. The beaches on the two islands are pristine, unspoiled and have powdery white soft sand. The inland area is covered with dense rain forest and a jungle of huge banyan trees, about 6 meters wide. The water is perfectly aquamarine in color and wonderfully clear with amazing snorkeling opportunities. The bottom is composed of mostly hard sheet, table, stag horn and soft marigold corals. Thousands of fish surround you and Black Tip sharks and hawksbill turtles patrol the reef frequently. You and your fellow SeaDream guests will have some time to relax on the beach, swimming or snorkeling nearby before your speedboat concludes the land adventure with your return to your mega yacht.
