San Blas Islands Experience
The San Blas archipelago is one of Panama’s most incredible tourist destinations. Governed by a remarkable indigenous group known as the Kuna, who gained their independence in 1925, the San Blas province is a country within a country, with its own laws, legislature and customs. Prepare to step back in time as you set foot on “Perro” Island, one of the many communities in the extensive archipelago of Kuna Yala, San Blas region. The Head of the island has invited Kunas from other islands to bringing with them their traditional arts and crafts to offer, including the famous “Molas” that are so painstakingly crafted out of many layers of fabric. A presentation of traditional dances will welcome you upon arrival. Once ashore, take some time to enjoy the crystalline waters and white sands, inspect the island or browse through the many hand crafted items that are offered by the locals. Enjoy swimming, kayaking or snorkeling off the pristine, white-sand beaches. Your specialist guides will be meeting your SeaDream yacht after traveling from Colon by private boat.
