Depart with your fellow SeaDream guests to drive to the countryside. First you will drive to Kaarma. The Church of Kaarma was dedicated to St. Petra and St. Paula and was built possibly after 1261. Estonian churches are rich in carved Baroque altars and pulpits. The pulpit of Kaarma Church was made by the master Jokob Jakobson in 1645 and is a rare exception. Departing Kaarma, you will visit the most famous historical sights of nature - the Meteorite Craters at Kaali, which are nearly believed to be 5000 years old. After your unique discovery of Kaali, you will continue to Visit Saaremaa`s Capital Kuressaare with a population of 15,000. Kuressaare has more than 600 years of incredible history. The town is much too small to have suffered industrial pollution and urban sprawl in more modern times and has preserved some of its Gothic and classicist architecture. The most beautiful buildings are the Town Hall and the Weigh House. The open-air marketplace is filled with different food products and native handicrafts, including marvelous selections of Estonian famous hand-made woolen sweaters and mittens. Further down along Lossi Street, there is the Orthodox St. Nicholas Church, built in 1790. In the middle of the 19th century Kuressaare became a health resort. The most charming reminders from those times are Pargi Street and Kurhouse located in the park in front of the Episcopal Castle. From this point your coach will take you back to the pier and your SeaDream yacht.
