HUG A CROCODILE & LICHFIELD PARK
Experience the wonders of the Northern Territory on this comprehensive tour to Crocodylus and Litchfield Park. We depart from the pier in small air-conditioned buses and head south down the Stuart Highway, where a brief stop will be made at the Magnetic Termite Mounds, a remarkable feature of this area. From there we head to Wangi Falls to see the amazing waterfall open up before us, surrounded by tropical jungle. Here we will enjoy a casual lunch before heading to the majestic Florence Falls. Back on the buses, we travel for approximately 2 hours to Crocodylus Park, famous for its crocodile research and conservation. The complex explains crocodile breeding, feeding and the lifestyle of this awesome animal. See the crocodiles in the lagoon and in their pens where you will witness their feeding with the crocodile’s literally leaping meters in the air for the food. There is also the opportunity to have a photo taken with a juvenile crocodile, and to hold one! If you dare!! The park is also home to a diverse array of other wildlife, including big cats, primates, birds and other reptiles.
